WTS and Cardiff Chest Federation Spring meeting

RE: Welsh Thoracic Society/Cardiff Chest Federation Joint Spring Meeting
Friday 19th March 2010, Court Colman Manor Hotel, Bridgend
I am writing to invite you to the above meeting at the Court Colman Manor, Bridgend. The meeting will commence at approximately 9.45 with registration and coffee. There will be an executive committee meeting of the Thoracic Society of Wales beforehand at 9am; the meeting will also include The Annual General Meeting of the Thoracic Society of Wales.
The format of the evening meal this year will be changed slightly, as there will be a more formal dinner to mark and honour the retirement of Dr Ian Campbell; this will be followed by an evening of entertainment. The dinner will also be at Court Colman Manor where overnight accommodation can be arranged if required.
As you are aware organisations, such as the Cardiff Chest Federation and the Welsh Thoracic Society rely on members support in attending meetings and in exchange provides education, sharing of knowledge and continuation of professional development.
Attendance at this meeting will be free of charge to all members of either the Cardiff Chest Federation or the Welsh Thoracic Society. Non-members can apply to become members of one or both of the organisations. Application forms will be forwarded if requested with membership fees currently at £10.00 per annum for each organisation. As new members, you would also be exempt from the conference fee and evening dinner costs. For non-members the cost will be £20.00 to attend the scientific meeting and an additional £25.00 for the evening dinner.

An application for CPD accreditation will be made for CPD purposes (3 points awarded for the spring meeting 2009). I look forward to hearing from you. With best wishes.
